Foods to be used for preventing cancer

Studies have shown the result that right selection of foods is a great way to prevent cancers. It’s obviously better to make your daily diet with the following items-

1. Cruciferous vegetables- Cabbage, Cauliflower, Broccoli should be cooked lightly and also thoroughly chewed when eaten in order to get full benefit from its anti-cancer property. Leafy green vegetables are considered as excellent for treating and preventing cancer. Lettuce, sprouts, dandelion greens having high amounts of fiber and beta carotene are extremely important nutrients. Other vegetables like pumpkin, squash, potatoes, mushrooms etc. are also good.

2. Curcumin- Daily addition of one teaspoon of turmeric to soups, salads or a dish of pasta will provide Curcumin, which is considered as an anti cancerous compound.

3. Nuts and seeds- A handful of nuts and seeds everyday should be taken. They contain high amount of protein, fiber without cholesterol. Almonds, cashews, pine nuts, sunflower seeds etc. are great for preventing cancer.

4. Soy- Soy products like soymilk, soy beans, soy nuts, soy flour etc. have multiple health benefits and can be used to prevent growth of cancerous cells.

5. Green Tea- Green tea is considered as having many anti cancer properties.

6. Red Wine- According to the present research ‘resveratrol’ present in red wine is great for preventing cancer.

7. Dark Chocolate- Daily consumption of 40 grams is considered as good for health.
