Something about sunscreen

Premature skin aging like wrinkles and skin cancers are generally caused by exposure of Ultraviolet rays. Sunscreen has been found to be the most effective skin care product which can prevent wrinkles and skin cancer. 90% of the wrinkles have been formed due to the suns UV rays.

Why UVA is considered as so bad? Even at low level exposure has been found to be worst for skin. It erodes the skin’s support structure, breaking down collagen which leads to form wrinkles and sagging. Scientists have found that UVA penetrates deep into the underlying support structure of the skin.

An SPF of at least 15 which contains avobenzone, titanium dioxide or zinc oxide is considered as a good sunscreen.

Application of Sunscreen: You should apply sunscreen properly. It should be applied liberally enough to all sun-exposed areas. One should apply it half an hour before going outside.

Daily application of sunscreen has been shown to be more effective in preventing skin damage.

Sunscreen is really good for skin. Especially for the people who spend more time in outside. But regular using of some sunscreens sometimes may make skin dark.

Helpful information. One of the main cause of cancer is UV rays. Human deficiency virus, large dark-colored birthmark, light colored skin, lots of time spend outdoors against sunlight etc. are the factors which may leads to skin cancer. I personally use sunscreen with 20 SPF.
