Alzheimer’s disease and it’s natural remedies

Alzheimer’s is the most common form of dementia. Alzheimer’s the progressive disorder’s is a devastating disease characterized by progressive memory loss, cognitive decline and behavioral disturbances. It destroys the memory of an individual, language as well as even the simple and logical thoughts. Following are some natural remedies for treating or preventing the disease-

1. Adequate percentage of vegetables and fruit juices should be taken as they’re antioxidant in nature.

2. Drinking herbal teas, including green tea is good.

3. Vitamin B-complex such as B6, Folic acid and B12 is advisable.

4. As per the present researches, curcumin, the extract taken from turmeric is quite effective in reducing the problem.

5. Exposure to sunlight in the morning and sleep pattern restoration is helpful.

6. Balanced diet containing carbohydrates, fats, proteins, vitamins and minerals is necessary for Alzheimer’s patients, which can give energy to maintain the body cells, tissues and organs. A healthy diet should have 50% carbohydrate, 30% fat and 20% protein.

7. Salmon, mackerel, sardines, lake trout, albacore tuna having omega-3 fatty acids. Experts recommend eating these types of fish twice a week is also good for brain health.

    Alzheimer’s is a progressive degenerative disease of brain. Generally middle aged people get affected by this disease. Alzheimer's can be prevented by maintaining healthy and stressfree lifestyle. Proper diet should be taken including lots of green vegetables and fresh fruits.

    One of the common herbs Brahmi enhances the memory and boost up our brain power. I heard it may help in reducing Alzheimer’s disease. Try to avoid alcohol, tobacco smoke, processed foods. Drink eight glasses of steam-distilled water (not tap water) daily.
