Some Psychological problems and their herbal remedies

Due to chemical imbalances in a human being’s system, psychological disorders can generate. Generally these differences may occur due to poor food habit, feeble digestion and irregular elimination of toxins. According to ayurveda, there are three doshas (Vata, Pitta and Kapha) which maintain our biology. Imbalanced Vata leads to anxiety, insomnia, fright etc. When pitta is imbalanced, it creates anger and bad temper. And excessive Khapha regulates an individual towards depression and laziness. There are some other factors, which can even create mental disorders. One of the reasons is our fast and competitive lifestyle. The other major factors along with the above mentioned factors are the daily routine, external environment, work pressure etc.
One can easily avoid all these disorders by:
a). Improving their diet chart
b). Regular or frequent use of ayurvedic massage oil to eliminate toxins
c). Try to balance the work pressure and even other external environment.
d). Yoga and exercise in regular basis can build up concentration and helps to reduce stress and anxiety. It even strengthens respiratory system as well as digestive system.

Herbs, which are use to aid in psychological disorders, are:

I. Valerian: generally it is helpful for insomnia patient.
II. Hops: usually it has been use to aid indigestion. It is also useful for restlessness, sleep disorder and anxiety.
III. Chamomile: it is used to treat mild sleep disorder of children.
IV. Passionflower: it can lessen anxiety.
V. Lemon Balm: this herb is suitable to relieve from insomnia and anxiety.
Nowadays, essential oils are used to recover from cognitive disorders.

    thanks for drawing the attention towards a common but most vital problem of this generation people. I think there are very few people who had never suffered from such kind of psychological disorders due to our fast lifestyle.
