Hair: an asset for a beautiful woman

For women, hair is an asset. So, proper care should be taken to maintain this delicate stuff which makes women beautiful and gorgeous. Hairs are of three basic types: normal, oily and dry. Normal hairs are those which do not get oily too often and are easy to maintain. They hardly face split end problems. Eating too much greasy foods and chocolates can result in oily hair. So, this kind of hair should be washed more often to avoid dirt which gets clogged onto the hair and thus resulting in damage and breakage of hair. If the hair is dry, wash it twice a week with a mild shampoo. But before washing the hair, make sure to massage with herbal based hair oil. Some of the home based remedies which are wonderful for hair care are as follows:
1. To reduce excess oiliness from oily hair, thoroughly beat the egg white (as per requirement) and apply it all through the hair. Once it becomes parch, wash off with warm water and herbal based shampoo.
2. Blend 2 tsp of coconut paste, 3 tsp of mustard oil and one egg. Apply it meticulously on to the hair and wash off after an hour. This will not only make the dry hair controllable, but also bright and silky.
3. For shiny and soft hair, apply a paste of 1 tablespoon of coconut oil and 3 tablespoon of sour cream; and then wrap the hair with a towel. After 30 minutes, wash the hair with a shampoo and rinse off well.
4. For improving hair growth, massage the hair with warm coconut oil and almond oil; and alternatively, massage it with castor oil and almond oil.

    Informative posting. You’ve highlighted some valuable tips for taking good care of hair. But I don’t agree with one point. You’ve told that having chocolates may lead to oily hair. Myself is a chocolate lover. I eat 2/3 chocolates everyday and my hair is very dry. Yes, that can increase the oiliness who is already suffering with oily hair. But people like me with dry hair how could stop taking chocolate?:)Don’t be so rude. Haha.

    Hey beauty queen I too agree with you. I even don’t think that there is any relation between chocolate and hair type. Anyways blogger, thanks for the home based recipes…as because I have no faith on any kind of chemical based cosmetic products.

    I’ve never heard that chocolate can affects the condition of the hair. Though I don’t have that much of affection for chocolate as beauty queen has. But if this information is true then we have to control ourselves to eat chocolate especially those people who’ve suffered a lot to manage their hair.
